FRC Starts Support Group for Dads

New  ‘Strong Fathers, Strong Kids’

Support Group for Dads Meets Each Month

The Family Resource Center of Central New Hampshire, is excited to offer a new monthly support group for fathers with children of any age.  ‘Strong Fathers, Strong Kids’ is a program developed from the feedback of fathers who have participated in previous Family Resource Center Parent Education Programs.

Many fathers noted the need for a regular support group for dads, where they can feel free to discuss the challenges and rewards of fatherhood, connect with other dads, and share problem-solving suggestions.  Topics will be designed to meet the needs and interests of the participates and may include: Positive Discipline, Communication, Co-Parenting, Balancing Work & Family, Child Development, Dealing with Emotions, and other issues relevant to fatherhood.  The support sessions will be co-facilitated by David Emond and Steve Columbo, both dads themselves, and are open at no charge to any father wishing to attend.

‘Strong Fathers, Strong Kids’ meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  Fathers are welcome to join us for dinner beginning at 5:30pm, with discussion starting at 6:00pm. FRC Dads
