Developmental Services

New Hampshire’s developmental services system offers individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders a wide range of supports and services provided within their own communities.

LRCS is one of 10 designated nonprofit Area Agencies in New Hampshire that provides community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders, and their families.  All direct services and supports to individuals and families are provided in accordance with contractual agreements between the Bureau of Developmental Services (BDS)  and the Area Agencies.

The Area Agencies partner with BDS to offer services that provide individuals with disabilities and their families as much freedom choice, control and responsibility as possible.
