LRCS Foundation’s Unforgettable Davisson Farm Open House Raises Funds to Empower the Lakes Region Community

Guests gather outside the car barn at Davisson Farm for a special Open House fundraising event benefiting Lakes Region Community Services.

The Lakes Region Community Services Foundation is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its recent fundraising event held at the picturesque Davisson Farm in Moultonborough on September 14th, 2023. The evening was filled with excitement, providing guests with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in rustic elegance and philanthropy.

The event featured an open house showcasing the beautifully restored Davisson Farm barn, leisurely strolls through the picturesque apple orchard, and a chance to marvel at the expansive collection of over 75 classic cars on-site. Representatives from Lakes Region Community Services were on hand to engage with guests and provide insight into the organization’s mission and critical services.

One of the event’s highlights was an exclusive raffle, offering participants the chance to win a private catered dinner experience with the Newfound Country Store for up to eight people at their Lakes Region residence. The raffle, valued at $2000.00, received an enthusiastic response from attendees and supporters.

Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is deeply grateful for the generous support of all attendees and sponsors. Bob Leda, Vice President of PR and Development at LRCS, expressed his gratitude, saying, “We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended this incredible event. Your presence and generosity have made a significant impact on our mission to empower individuals and families in the Lakes Region to live full and inclusive lives. The funds raised will go a long way in ensuring that we continue to provide vital programs and services to our community.”

The LRCS Foundation extends its appreciation to the event’s partners and sponsors, including Newfound Country Store for catering, On The Rocks Bartending and Event Services for bartending, Matt Cohen Photography for capturing the evening, Prescott’s Florist for the elegant floral arrangements, The David Lockwood Duo for providing music, and Bob and Karen Ciardi for generously allowing to host the event on their property. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield’s sponsorship of the event was invaluable in making the evening a success.

The event saw a record number of guests, all united by their commitment to making a difference in their community. As a result, LRCS is pleased to announce that a grand total of $13,000.00 was raised during the event. These funds will directly support LRCS in its mission to promote independence, dignity, and opportunity for the thousands of individuals and families they serve throughout their life cycle.
