GATHERING TIME PLAYED TO A FULL HOUSE

Gathering Time, A New York based folk rock trio accompanied by folk singer Mara Levine, delighted a full house on Saturday, June 7 at the Belknap Mill in Laconia.

Temple B’nai Israel of Laconia sponsored the event to benefit Lakes Region Community Services  whose long standing mission is to support individuals and their families living with developmental disabilities.

As a part of the Temple’s ‘We Care’ initiative, the concert was truly a success on many levels. “The evening was exhilarating and filled with the gratifying rewards of giving and receiving,’’ stated Kenneth Goodman a member of the planning committee.

Christine Santaniello Executive Director of LRCS added, “What a wonderful night of music, laughter and friendship. Working together to make Gathering Time a success developed new relationships and friendships for both organizations.”

Temple B’nai Israel’s support of LRCS continues this fall with a Saturday, October 18 concert at the Winni Playhouse in Meredith featuring The Freese Brothers Big Band. Tickets will go on sale in September with net profits supporting LRCS.
