Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) Addresses Unmet Needs in Annual Celebration: Recognizing Community Partners, Outstanding Employees, and Sparking Conversations

Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families from birth through the lifespan, is thrilled to announce its Annual Celebration on Thursday, April 11th, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at LRCS’ Main Office located at 719 North Main St., Laconia, NH 03246.

This year’s Annual Celebration carries the theme “Addressing Unmet Needs in our Community,” emphasizing LRCS’s commitment to identifying critical issues facing the community.

The event will begin with light hors d’oeuvres and passed appetizers, setting the stage for an awards ceremony that will honor exceptional individuals and organizations committed to furthering LRCS’s mission. The awards include the 2024 Community Partner Award, recognizing the extraordinary efforts of supporters outside of the organization, the Employee Mission Award, acknowledging LRCS employees going above and beyond to embody the mission of LRCS, and the Employee Longevity Awards, celebrating dedicated long-term employees.

Following the awards ceremony, LRCS is proud to present a panel discussion featuring local leaders addressing unmet needs in the community. The panel will cover critical topics such as advocacy, transportation, housing, childcare, and more, providing valuable insights and sparking conversations that matter.

This year’s distinguished panelists include:

  • Siobhan Connelly, Adverse Childhood Experiences Victim’s Advocate
  • Donka Facciolo, Community Member
  • Kara LaSalle, Lakes Region Community Developers Real Estate Development Director
  • Marti Ilg, Child and Families Advocate and LRCS Board Member
  • Erin Pettengill, LRCS Vice President of the Family Resource Center and Family Support

The panel will be moderated by LRCS Legislative Liaison, Carrie Duran.
