Belknap Mill Fills with Children for 7th Annual Tea

Young children and their families filled the Belknap Mill on April 22 for the Children’s Authors Tea presented by the LRCS Family Resource Center. The Authors Tea is a favorite tradition for lots of families in the Lakes Region. Children attending the Tea, many dressed-up for the occasion, meet local children’s book authors and illustrators, gather writers autographs and listen to book readings. Each child also receives a book to take home with them.

As in past years, Curt’s Caterers of Gilford generously donated special refreshments and impeccable service for the Tea – including china tea cups, sugar cubes, delicate tea sandwiches, fresh fruit and desserts.
