Yellow Flag DSP Appreciation

The state-wide Direct Support Professional ‘Yellow Flag Appreciation’ event, sponsored by the NH Council on Developmental Disabilities, will take place on Friday, September 8 on the State House lawn, Concord. Over 1,000 Yellow Flags will be flying representing the many dedicated and committed DSP’s who proudly serve NH citizens with disabilities. Everyone whose lives are touched by a DSP, are welcome to join the event and make a flag of their own.

LRCS StaffWorks is participating in Yellow Flag Day in Concord as well as celebrating  ‘DSP Recognition Week’ beginning on September 10 to elevate awareness of the importance of DSP’s to our mission.

“DSP’s change the quality of life for people we support with developmental disabilities and their families. Our DSP staff treat each person as an individual and work with their unique interests, abilities, preferences and needs. They do amazing work and deserve all of our thanks,” stated Wendy Robb, Director of StaffWorks.
