5th Annual Miles for Smiles 5k Run/Walk

September 15, 2015 Plymouth, NH

This popular  annual 5k Run/Walk was started five years ago to raise money to help with the costs of dental care for individuals, age 21 and over,  with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries as Medicaid funding does not cover dental care for these individuals. Lakes Region Uncorked 2015!

It’s never too early to plan. So plan to be at the 3rd Annual Lakes Region Uncorked 2015 tasting event on Thursday, November 5th at Church Landing in Meredith. This year’s Uncorked will be bigger and better than ever thanks to a great new venue on Lake Winnipesaukee and a dedicated core of returning vendors as well as new vendors providing the highest quality locally crafted food and drink that New Hampshire has to offer.

Uncorked has become known as the region’s premiere showcase event for locally-made wine, beer, mead, coffee, food, desserts and more. Uncorked’s “tasting trail” features an array of passed appetizers and hors d’oeuvres selected to complement your sipping and sampling experience, as well as wine education sessions with Carla Snow, the author of ‘Wine and Dine in New Hampshire’ and chief wine educator at A Grape Affair. This year’s Uncorked will also feature chef demonstrations and a ‘Chocolate Consultant.’

Guests will also enjoy live music and have the chance to bid on many fine silent auction items donated by local businesses and artisans.
