Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is seeking a strategic leader to serve as its next President & CEO. This role is responsible for the overall administration, financial health, and operational excellence of the organization with a focus on the advancement of LRCS’s mission. The CEO will work closely with the LRCS Board of Directors and staff to ensure delivery of high-quality services that promote the health and well-being of individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organization in alignment with its mission and strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (RSA 171-A, He-M 505).
- Oversee program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide fiscal oversight and manage budgets in collaboration with finance teams.
- Hire, evaluate, and support staff development and retention.
- Represent LRCS at local, state, and federal levels.
- Pursue funding opportunities and partnerships to expand services.
- Collaborate with affiliate boards and management teams.
- Report regularly to the LRCS Board of Directors.
Qualifications include a Master’s or Ph.D. in social work, education, psychology, sociology, administration, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in human services.
At least 2 years of experience in developmental disabilities (may overlap with management experience). Strong knowledge of nonprofit administration, planning, and community networking. Proven ability to work with volunteer boards and diverse teams. Experience in fiscal management and employee relations. Familiarity with New Hampshire’s Organized Healthcare Delivery System, otherwise known as the “Area Agency System” or the “Developmental Disabilities System.” Understanding New Hampshire’s legislative and political processes is preferred.
