NH DD/ABD Quality Council Recommendations to DHHS regarding NH’s Transition to Commercial Managed Care
The Developmental Disabilities Quality Council was asked by the department to produce contract language that we would like to be included for Step 2 Phase 3. While the QC maintains a unanimous position of being against commercial managed care, we saw an opportunity to share the recommendations of individuals, families and other stakeholders. After working for about 10 months on this document, it was presented to Commissioner Nick Toumpas and his staff yesterday and is now being made public.
