FRC Awarded grant from NHCF

LRCS receives grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to support the work of the Family Resource Center

Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) recently received a $5,000 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. The grant will help further LRCS’ mission to provide respectful, non-judgmental services to help families build resiliency, make positive connections and prepare their children for ongoing success.

Welcoming the good news of the recent grant, Erin Pettengill, Vice President of the Family Resource Center, reflected on the impact of the award, “Through the generosity of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, this gift will allow us to provide concrete supports on an as-needed basis for our local families. Flexible funding is vital right now, especially during these particularly challenging times. This grant will allow us to meet the needs of families in a real way.”
