LRCS participates in state-wide day of giving
For the third year, Lakes Region Community Services (LRCS) is participating in NH Gives, a giving movement that has been driven by hundreds of nonprofit organizations servicing communities across New Hampshire. NH Gives is the state’s largest generosity movement bringing together tens of thousands of donors to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the causes served by NH’s nonprofit sector. The impact of NH Gives goes well beyond charitable donations, inspiring giving in all its forms. From across the state, people are embracing this day as an opportunity to support and champion the causes they believe in and in the communities in which they live.
This year, for 24-hours starting on June 7th at 5:00 PM, you can support LRCS and make a difference for the thousands of individuals and families they support. For LRCS, this event offers the opportunity to raise funds for the many programs and services they provide across the Lakes Region. LRCS serves individuals and families from birth through the full life span. Their mission is to support individuals to have lives of meaning and opportunity with dignity and independence.
Since 1975, LRCS has been an essential community partner supporting individuals and families living with developmental disabilities or acquired brain disorders. Their Family Resource Center supports families facing the challenges of developmental delays in their children, of Autism, and the often traumatic effects on children especially of domestic abuse, and drug and alcohol misuse. Additionally, they provide a broad range of positive and proactive supports for families of all types to raise healthy and resilient children. And they provide vital in-home supports that enable the elderly to age gracefully and remain independent in their home.
Your contribution to LRCS during NH Gives will allow for the continuation of these necessary supports and services throughout the lifecycle, which allows your family, friends, and neighbors to thrive in all stages of life.
