LRCS’ Executive Director Christine Santaniello Accepts Position with NH Bureau of Developmental Services

The Board of Directors of Lakes Region Community Services has santaniello-cannounced that LRCS Executive Director, Christine Santaniello will be stepping down from her leadership position in October. Santaniello, who has lead the organization since 2006, is leaving LRCS to become the Director of the Bureau of Developmental Services for the State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services (BDS).

“While we are sad that Chris is leaving LRCS, we are pleased that she will continue to work tirelessly for those with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders with the State BDS” said LRCS Board President, R. Stuart Wallace. “Chris has accomplished a great deal in her tenure with LRCS.  She has built a strong team, developed high quality programs and services and kept the organization financially strong. I am confident that her good work will continue to serve this organization well as we transition to new leadership,” he continued.

The Board has named Becky Bryant as the Interim Executive Director for the organization at its September meeting. The Board is conducting a comprehensive search for the Executive Director position. Santaniello’s last day with LRCS will be October 12, 2016.
