Uncorked Tasting Event 2017

What has become New Hampshire’s premiere tasting event surpassed all expectations again this year.  Thanks to our committed team of sponsors, vendors, donors and volunteers, Lakes Region Uncorked 2017, Lakes Region Community Services’ signature annual fundraiser, held on November 2, at Church Landing raised net proceeds of over $37,000 – funds that will be used to help individuals and families served by LRCS with critical needs.

“We are grateful for the excitement and enthusiasm Uncorked generates. It is a lot of fun, promotes unique local businesses and is the largest fundraiser of the year for us,” said Rebecca Bryant, LRCS President & CEO. “It is a testament to the community spirit of the Lakes Region to see the support from new and returning sponsors, guests, vendors and donors grow each year.  Uncorked 2017 brought in more than $50,000 in support of LRCS programs and services.”

There were more vendors showcasing their locally-made wine, beer, mead, cider, coffee, desserts and specialty foods and even more enthusiastic guests. Celebrity Chef Kevin Halligan of the Local Eatery in Laconia did not disappoint, sharing his delicious Amuse Bouche creations that were paired with specialty cocktails presented by Tamworth Distillery.

The 35 bottles included several selections from Uncorked vendors as well as fine wines donated to LRCS from several wine cellar collections. The prize was valued at over $1,500.

Uncorked featured 30 vendors, fabulous silent auction items and a 60 bottle WOW (wall of wine) donation table for guests to ‘Pull a Cork’.
