Ways to Give

There are Many Ways to Give!

Donate securely online here, to give from your Donor Advised Fund click the link below, or download our Donation Form and mail with your check.

Consider, too, these other ways to help:

Bequests and beneficiary designations: While most people are limited in the level of charitable giving they can afford during their lifetime, there is often significant opportunity for impact-giving after one’s life—but only if arrangements are made in advance!  It’s easy to make a bequest or other designation to benefit LRCS.  Simply add a codicil to your will and/or request a Change of Beneficiary Form from your retirement funds administrator or insurance agent to add LRCS Foundation as a beneficiary or contingent beneficiary on your life insurance, 401K, or IRA.  For more specific guidance, please contact Bob Leda, Vice President of Public Relations and Development at (603) 581-1588 or robert.leda@lrcs.org.

Tribute or Memorial Gifts: Got enough stuff already?  Consider inviting family and friends who want to give you a gift to instead make a donation in your honor to benefit LRCS.  When they do, we’ll of course thank them, and we’ll send a note to you too as the honoree.  Similarly, we invite gifts in memorial tribute to someone special.

Gifts of real estate, appreciated stock, or other securities: Giving the gift of appreciated securities such as stock, bonds, or mutual funds avoids paying costly capital gains taxes.  Securities traded on major stock exchanges can be transferred to nonprofit organizations using a simple Beneficiary Designation Form.MilesforSmiles

Matching Corporate Gifts: Many for-profit companies encourage their employees’ charitable giving by matching their gifts.  Please check with your or your spouse’s/partner’s employer and request a matching gift form to include with your donation.

In-kind Gifts: We are pleased to accept a range of non-monetary donations (used cars, boats, etc., for example) that can be converted to cash to support programming and services, or other donations that can appropriately be conveyed directly to people served by LRCS.  Please contact the Development Office at 603-524-5811 or by email to giving@lrcs.org to confirm that LRCS is able to accept your donation.

Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Trusts, or other Planned Gifts: U.S. tax laws offer a broad range of incentives to philanthropically-minded investors, including giving options that can generate more current income for the donor, while at the same time enabling a meaningful future gift for their designated charitable organization.  Please contact Bob Leda, Vice President of Public Relations and Development at (603) 581-1588 or robert.leda@lrcs.org to discuss more.

With an eye towards ensuring our long-term capacity, in addition to Annual Fund gifts that support current-year funding priorities, LRCS invites donors to consider gifts to our Endowment Fund, which provides permanent capital to LRCS, with interest and dividends earnings that annually support broad LRCS priorities, or donor-specified priorities.
