If you receive Case Management through Area Agency Services then you may have heard the terms conflict free case management, or conflict of interest and you may be wondering what this means.

The Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) is requiring New Hampshire to make changes in two areas of the service delivery system:

1. Conflict of Interest in Case Management to be in compliance with the Home and Community Based Setting (HCBS) Regulations requiring the separation of Case management (Service Coordination) and direct service delivery; and

2. New Hampshire’s Organized Health Care Delivery System, relating to the payment process for providers

How can you be involved?

You can attend a forum or complete the online survey.

NH Family Voices has been contracted to hold forums across the state in conjunction with the online survey to allow families and individuals opportunities to participate.

RSVP IS REQUIRED

Self Advocates are welcome to attend any of the SELF ADVOCATE or FAMILY forums. Families are welcome to attend any of the FAMILY forums even if it is not at their Area Agency. Area Agency staff will not be present during the forums. RSVP is required by noon on day of forum you will attending. Please email Jenn if RSVPing after noon.
