Overview:
Clear communication between individuals, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers is key to getting the best care. However, many things can make communication hard, like complicated medical terms, cultural differences, or not having enough time to talk. This training will explain these challenges in simple terms and share ways to make communication most effective for everyone, ensuring providers have the information needed to provide the appropriate treatment and services.

- Understand the common problems people face when talking to doctors, clinicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Learn why these problems happen, including personal, cultural, and system-wide issues.
