2021 Employee Mission Award

The LRCS Employee Mission Award began in 2019 to acknowledge long-term employees that represent the Agency’s mission and values through dedication and achievement. This award is unique in that consideration is based on nominations by his or her peers, with the final selection confirmed by Management Team.

We are thrilled to announce Mellissa Svoboda, Gentle Teaching Consultant, as the recipient of the 2021 LRCS Employee Mission Award! In her 7+ years of service, Mellissa has made a deep and loyal commitment to the individuals we serve. She works creatively to provide opportunities for independence, while also being a devoted advocate for the individuals and their staff.

More specifically to this year, throughout the pandemic, Mellissa has stepped up with complete selflessness and worked across programs, willing to put in long hours, and worked various shifts in residential homes that had experienced significant COVID-19 outbreaks. Mellissa exemplifies a team-first attitude in all that she does and demonstrates to her community and colleagues that we are all one team dedicated to one mission.
