Uncorked returns to Church Landing at Mill Falls in Meredith on Thursday, Nov. 2, 5-8 pm, where the rustic elegance of Church Landing creates the perfect atmosphere for guests to enjoy a fine variety of locally crafted food and beverages that are second to none.

In its 5th year, Lakes Region Uncorked is New Hampshire’s showcase event to enjoy locally-made wine, beer, mead, cider, spirits, fine foods and much more to kick off the holiday season.

“We are grateful for the excitement and enthusiasm Lakes Region Uncorked generates each year. Uncorked presents a variety of NH made and grown products. People look forward to it every year and love to share the experience with their friends and colleagues.  It’s lot of fun, supports local businesses and is the largest fundraiser of the year for LRCS,” said Rebecca Bryant, President & CEO.

“We are welcoming 30 vendors this year of which 7 are new,  including many in the ‘Sweet and Savory’ food category. New to Uncorked 2017 are:  Cold Garden Spirits, Canterbury;  Lone Wolfe Brewing Co., and Winnipesaukee Winery of Wolfeboro;  Curt’s Catering, Gilford; Fox Country Smoke House, Canterbury; Moulton Farm, Meredith; and Winnipesaukee Woods Farm, Alton Bay,” commented Joanne Piper Lang, VP Development.

Guests enjoy an assortment of fine foods – appetizers and hors d’oeuvres and NH made and grown foods – chocolates, cakes, toffee and specialty foods such as smoked meats, local cheeses, grilled vegetables and fresh farm products. Uncorked will also offer ‘Amuse Bouche’ Celebrity Chef Tickets for a 5:30 or 6:30 pm seating with Chef Kevin Halligan, owner and executive chef of Laconia Local Eatery. Chef Halligan will prepare small ‘happy’ dishes using fresh, local ingredients paired with cocktails prepared by Tamworth Distilling.

Special at every turn, Uncorked guests can also start their holiday shopping with unique silent auction items donated by local artisans and businesses. Last years’ the auction featured 65 items.

The ‘Wall of Wine’ charity raffle has also expanded. The popular ‘Pull a Cork’ Wall of Wine held at the event,  where ‘everyone is a winner’ continues this year,  as well as a new “Blue Ribbon-Best of Show” raffle – offering a chance to win a 35 bottle collection of fine wines worth more than $1,000 along with a custom-made display rack. Tickets for the ‘Blue Ribbon-Best of Show’ raffle are on sale now (250 tickets max. to be sold). Ticket holders do not have to be present to win.
